Guidance and Mentoring Programme for Women in STEAM

This guidance and mentoring programme contains guidelines and educational materials for supporting industry leaders, Higher Education educators and leaders, and other relevant stakeholders. It supports them in gaining the necessary knowledge to successfully engage women in STEAM activities and in digital technologies, and to mentor women on career choices.

The main objectives are:
- To compare national/European level data, results, and needs related to the involvement of women in STEAM in higher education.
- To empower higher education leaders and educators to understand the importance of the involvement of women in STEAM.
- To equip higher education leaders and educators with practical guidelines and best practices on how to mentor and better involve women in STEAM.

 

The following results are available:
- Transnational report on the state of women in STEAM at national/European level.
- Guidelines and best practices on how to encourage women in activities using digital technologies in future careers and tips on how to achieve this through a mentoring programme.
- In addition, STEAM4LIFE committees have been established in each partner country to promote and facilitate the programme.
